Joe Patrick - President / Agent
Joe is pleased to be a second generation insurance agent. A graduate of Ohio University, Joe began his insurance career as a Commercial Lines Underwriter at the Cincinnati Insurance Company in Fairfield, OH. After three years of leaning the business from a company approach, he left to join his father at the Insurance Circle Agency in Worthington and Canal Winchester, Ohio. Working between the two locations, Joe realized his heart and soon-to-be fiancé Meg was back in Cincinnati, so he joined the Bauer Insurance Agency as Agency Manager/Producer in their Mason, OH location. Joe left Bauer Insurance in 2004 to join with Larry McCord at McCord Insurance Agency as an agency owner.
Joe and his wife Meg live in Mason and welcomed their daughter Carrie in 2009. He enjoys golfing, playing basketball, traveling, and relaxing with family. He was the 2004 recipient of the A.W. Lorenz Jr. award for outstanding committee leadership from the Independent Insurance Agents of Ohio. He was asked to participate on the Agent Advisory Council for Celina Insurance in 2006 and 2007. Joe was presented the Young Charger Award from the IIA of Ohio in 2006 as their young agent of the year. He is the former chairman of the Young Independent Agents Committee and is extremely active in his community.
Larry McCord - Vice President / Agent
Larry began his insurance career by joining his Uncle Kirby McCord at the McCord Insurance Agency in 1961. He purchased the agency from his uncle and became President in 1975. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Larry has remained extremely active in numerous insurance industry associations. He is a Past President of the Ohio Independent Insurance Agents Association and also served numerous terms as trustee. He is a Past President of the Cincinnati Insurance Board. Larry was the 1996 recipient of the Paul Revere Award for outstanding achievement from the Independent Insurance Agents of Ohio. He received the A. W. Lorenz Jr. award in 2001 for his committee leadership with the Insurepac Committee. He is a Past Master of the Madisonville Lodge #419, a member of the Ohio Commodores, a member of the ancient accepted Scottish Rite, and a past trustee of both the Mount Adams Civic Association and Cincinnati Fire Museum.
Larry and his wife Evelyn live in Mount Adams.
